Who we are

mMoney is a Barbados-founded digital payment wallet built for use on smartphones! mMoney is based on distributed ledger technology to give you the ability to use your mobile phone for buying and selling goods and services.

What we do

From buying petrol and groceries to renting equipment and going to the movies, we’re the mobile money (yes, our brand name!) app preferred by the widest distribution of merchants in Barbados. The mMoney app also allows you to send money to anyone with the app. mMoney takes seconds to download, minutes to sign-up and it’s free to use.

What we’ve done

Since our founding, we’ve been very busy. mMoney built the best payments app in the Caribbean, welcomed hundreds of merchants and thousands of customers onboard, officially joined a Sandbox with the Central Bank of Barbados and signed agreements with strategic partners, thereby laying the groundwork to become the preferred financial technology (FinTech) service provider for the Caribbean. We’ve also signed an agreement with the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) to ensure that each island is ready to do business with tech-savvy tourists.  

Where we plan to go

A purple wave is coming!  Soon, we’ll roll-out the mMoney app across the Caribbean. Ultimately, we want to empower every Caribbean resident, whether they are banked or unbanked, merchants or customers, to seamlessly make local and regional digital transactions.
